Embroidery

With embroidery it is necessary to convert your logo from any image file (jpg, png, pdf, eps, cdr, svg, etc) to a stitch file. Original high-res logo files work best, but we can also replicate your logo from a photo of your sign/vehicle/etc. We use Wilcom digitizing software to do this, but is still mostly a manual process in which we trace the visual elements of your logo, specify thread color, underlay stitches, tatami fills, satins, runs, stitch direction, and sequence it so it sews nicely and doesn’t distort on the fabric. Usually we can match your font and use the vendor’s font library but if your logo includes non-standard fonts we can manually digitize those as well. We charge a $25 digitizing/setup fee on your first order for most 4″ shirt or hat designs up to 10,000 stitches. For repeat orders without logo changes we waive this fee. Jacket backs and other large designs usually take longer so we charge more. We hate to list an exact price that covers all situations, since many people with large but simple designs will end up overpaying. Just shoot us a message and we’ll give you a quote! Maybe one day I will design a plugin that can assess size and complexity automatically and provide a quote…but we’re not there yet 🙂

Chest logos on sport shirts (aka Polo shirts) are typically up to 4″. Hats are limited to about 2″ in design height but can be 5+ inches wide so in some cases we recommend adjusting your logo to fit the garment type. There are also limits on letter heights so we will work with you to make sure the design will sew nicely and include your most important information.

Multiple embroidery locations per garment is available for additional cost, for example a 4″ left chest logo with employee name on the right chest. Each situation is different, so please contact us with your requirements and quantities and we’ll be happy to provide a quote.
